It's the performance that world has been hoping for and it looks like Celine Dion WILL perform at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, after the music megastar confirmed her arrival in the French capital.
Celine, the powerhouse vocalist who has given us classics like Think Twice, It's All Coming Back to Me Now and My Heart Will Go On has been largely out of the spotlight for the last few years, after announcing that she has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder with no cure, that leaves its sufferers unable to walk or move, as well as being more prone to falls and painful spasms.
Celine recently broke hearts across the world with her moving Amazon Prime documentary I Am Celine, in which she revealed she has actually been struggling with Stiff Person Syndrome for 17 years, saying: " It took me 17 years to understand what was going on. I beg of you, don't wait that long!"

In one particularly moving clip, Celine said her biggest wish was to perform again and it looks like she will do just that on Friday, when the eyes of the world fall on Paris for the launch of the Olympic Games.
Amid all the speculation linking the French-Canadian with a star turn at the opening ceremony, Celine added some serious fuel to the fire with an Instagram post in which she confirmed she was indeed in Paris, sharing a photo of herself in front of the world renowned Louvre and writing: 'Every time I return to Paris, I remember there’s so much beauty and joy still to experience in the world. I love Paris, and I’m so happy to be back! Thank you to our wonderful friends at The Louvre!"
The reaction to Celine's post has been huge, with one fan replying: 'The queen is back!! The world needs your voice more than ever!" and another commenting: "My heart is beating so fast right now"
