Farmland at Low Shipley covers 118.66 acres, with Grade Four meadow land suited to long term leys, and field parcels fenced for livestock. There is also 13 acres of amenity woodland, while a wildlife pond lies partly within the Shipley and Great Woods Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
