Bamburgh
Bamburgh is a large village on the coast of Northumberland and is home to the Bamburgh Castle, which overlooks the beach. Its extensive sandy beach was awarded the Blue Flag rural beach award in 2005 and the village is popular with holidaymakers. Bamburgh also has a close association with the Victorian heroine, Grace Darling, who is buried there.
