TV viewers have declared the Laura Wood has the 'perfect' co-host, for the Paris Olympics, as sports fans choose to watch Eurosport's coverage rather than the BBC's.
Days after she and boyfriend, ex Love Island star Adam Collard, announced that they are expecting their first child together, Laura has been back on screen to anchor live action from Paris, as Eurosport show extensive coverage of the event. As well as recruiting Laura, who proved popular with fans after anchoring for ITV at Euro 2024, Eurosport also has star studded list of pundits over in Paris, including Ellie Simmonds, Nile Wilson, Iwan Thomas, Laura Robson and even Tom Daley.
But it's one of the other presenters who has come in for particular praise from viewers, with some saying they've 'switched off' the BBC to watch Eurosport. And the star in question is none other than Craig Doyle, who was many people's pick to be one half of This Morning's new main presenting duo, before Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were confirmed to have landed the high profile roles earlier this year.

Craig made his This Morning debut back in 2022 and, having not been seen on the ITV daytime programme for some time, he's now impressing for Eurosport at the Olympics. Championing both him and Laura, one viewer took to X to urge another sports fan to tune into Eurosport, writing: "Watch Eurosport instead if you can. Craig Doyle and Laura Woods are excellent"
It was on Instagram that Laura, who was left with facial wounds after a freak accident on holiday earlier this year, revealed she was pregnant by posting a photo of her dog looking at her baby scan photo.
Fans have been quick to offer their congratulations, with one telling her: "If you're as good of a mum as you are at your TV work, You're little one is going to be Very lucky indeed. All the best Woodsy" as another commented: " I'm so happy and excited for you Woodsy! I hope you're having a blast in Paris!"
