The Money Saving Expert (MSE) website, orchestrated by Martin Lewis, has issued a timely warning for parents about the upcoming end to a bargain school uniform deal.
Despite many schools still remaining in term, the forethought of countless parents nationwide is being cast toward the impending school year come this September. The early emergence of school uniform deals are a welcome sight for parents, alleviating financial pressure and dispersing costs prior to kick-starting the new academic year.
Asda pioneered in unveiling their 20% off school uniform deal extremely early this year, but will conversely also be concluding it prematurely. MSE cautions parents that time is ticking with only until 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 30 remaining to capitalise on the offer.

In a recent post to X - previously known as Twitter, the dedicated MSE team broadcasted: "You can get 20% off school uniform at Asda until 11.59pm on Sunday 30 June, including two polo shirts from £2.40, two sweatshirts from £4 and more."
Martin's team say the deal is very simple - with no voucher or code required and with the 20% discount applied automatically upon payment. Unfortunately, this offer is exclusively available in Asda shops, barring online orders, reports the Mirror.
Parents seeking to locate their nearest Asda can utilise the supermarket's online store finder for ease. It ought to be noted that larger Asda stores - those likely housing a George section - observe reduced opening hours on Sundays, typically from either 10 am or 11 am up until 4 pm or 5 pm.
Included under the deal are the following:
- 2x polo shirts – from £2.40 with discount (were from £3)
- 2x sweatshirts – from £4 with discount (were from £5)
- 2x skirts – from £5.60 with discount (were from £7)
- 2x trousers – from £5.60 with discount (were from £7)
The MSE team has pointed out that prices can fluctuate based on the age of the child. For instance, uniforms for older children, such as those in high school, tend to be pricier than those for primary school pupils.
The deal also does not cover footwear, socks and tights, bags, accessories, or lunch boxes.
