Two rapists have been put behind bars after attacking a woman.

Harley King, 19, from Blakelaw, Newcastle, and Ben Jennings, 20, of Cramlington, Northumberland, were both convicted of two charges of rape against the same victim following a trial at Shrewsbury Crown Court last month.

The jury also found King guilty of voyerism and Jennings guilty of sexual assault on June 20.

On July 18, the pair were handed prison sentences at the court in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

King, of Ainslie Place, Blakelaw, and Jennings, of Cateran Way, Cramlington, were both sentenced to eight years and six months in a young offenders institution.

Both defendants have been ordered to sign the sexual offenders register for life. They were also handed a restraining order against the victim, until further order.
