NORTH EAST MAYOR

Labour's Kim McGuiness was elected as the first ever North East Mayor on 2nd May, 2024. Kim McGuiness will lead a new combined authority that stretches across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, and County Durham, representing around two million people.
