A weekend of music in Newcastle will be launched by two of the hottest names in dance when Patrick Topping and Schak take to the Town Moor stage on Saturday.
The first day of the weekender, presented by LooseFest, will star DJ and producer Topping with his own Trick label takeover and the hit-maker behind the likes of Forget and Be Sharp Say Nowt will be serving up non-stop music, accompanied by fellow local favourite Schak who says Saturday's crowds can expect the biggest dance line-up that Newcastle has ever seen.
And there are still some TickFest tickets available to join the party. Fans can expect to be on their feet all day in celebration of the best of the dance music scene. With Newcastle's own Topping - whose recent re-mixes have involved The Streets, Calvin Harris and Sam Fender - leading the way, more than 15 acts are set to perform during the day.

DJ Schak, whose debut single Moving All Around (Jumpin') was released by Topping's Trick label, said: “This is the biggest dance line-up Newcastle has ever seen and I’m so honoured to be a part of it. Playing in my home city alongside some of the world's biggest DJs is a true privilege and I can’t wait to put on a show!”
TrickFest will be followed on Sunday with a change of tone in LooseFest's second day of music as the 90s Baby Festival celebrates tunes from the nineties into the 2000s and starring on its main stage will be pop chart-toppers Ronan Keating; Blue; Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys; Eternal; Atomic Kitten and Five.
And a Clubland stage will feature the likes of DJ Sash; Ultrabeat and Flip N Fill alongside a MC line-up of Keyes, Finchy, Tazo, and Stompin. Dean Saunders, co-director of LooseFest, said; “We have tried to bring something for everyone for LooseFest 2024.
"There’s a real mix of talent over the whole weekend." Fairground rides, including a Ferris wheel, plus food trucks and bars will be adding to the weekend's attractions. Dean added: It’s been a huge operation to plan and the atmosphere will be incredible all weekend."
Co-director Brian Austin said: "We are super-passionate about putting on an incredible show this year and once again we couldn’t have done it without all the support we’ve received. We can now get excited to welcome everyone down to enjoy the whole weekend and there’s still an opportunity for those who haven’t yet to bought tickets to come join us”.
The festivals will run from noon to 10.30pm on both days. For full details of the TrickFest line-up see here. There are some final release tickets currently available for £67.20 plus some VIP and group options.
