A popular restaurant chain is in for a slice of the school holiday action this summer with the launch of a meal deal which seems set to attract hordes of hungry families.
The new offer at Pizza Hut Restaurants invites children to eat for free when an accompanying adult spends £10. The complimentary lunch buffet for young ones will be available every day and to ensure there is plenty choice there also will be some new toppings added to a wide array of pizzas that will be served up alongside pasta and salad.
With Pizza Hut branches including local restaurants at The Gate in Newcastle; Metrocentre and Metro Retail Park in Gateshead plus sites at the Silverlink and Durham as well as Hartlepool, Teesside Park and Middlesbrough, this means families across the North East can benefit from the freebie.

Pizza Hut's summer offer applies to children aged 12 and under who can enjoy a free lunch buffet available every day until 3pm with use of a code - SUMMERKEF - when a grown-up spends £10. The unlimited buffet will include a 'DIY' salad bar and Pizza Huts says the buffet offers 14m ingredient combinations "meaning there’s something for even the fussiest eaters".
Parents can also choose to spend an extra £2 to include bottomless soft drinks and unlimited ice cream. The revamped buffet choices also include pizza with a new light 'hand-crafted" sourdough crust and, to mark its introduction, four limited-time toppings have been introduced: chicken fajita; chicken and bacon; pepperoni and spicy ‘nduja; and 'Spicy G.O.A.T'.
