Sarah Millican is set to take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, after the North East comedy icon's name appeared on a 'leaked' list of contestants for this year.
Sarah, the comedian who continues to pack out venues right across the globe with her stand up shows, is no stranger to competing on a BBC programme, having previously been taken part in a celebrity special of The Great British Sewing Bee, but now she's being tipped to swap jokes for dance moves by signing up to do Strictly.
The South Shields star is one of a number of celebs to feature on the list of names that has done the rounds online over the last few days. Other big names to be linked to Strictly 2024 include Ted Lasso actress turned Eurovision Song Contest presenter Hannah Waddingham, outspoken Loose Women star Janet Street-Porter and Blue singer Duncan James.

They were joined on the leaked list by other famous faces like footballer turned TV host Jermaine Jenas, I'm A Celebrity finalist and Capital radio presenter Jordan North, TOWIE and Celebs Go Dating's Pete Wicks and Olympic legend Laura Kenny.
The list is rounded off by Shona McGarty, who recently left her role as Whitney Dean in EastEnders, Chris McCausland, Outnumbered star Tyger Drew-Honey, Doctor Who's Pearl Mackie and actor Sunil Patel. Stars whose names didn't appear but have also been tipped to take part in Strictly this year include TikTok and podcast star GK Barry, 80s music icon Toyah Wilcox. and Helen Worth, following the news that she is leaving her role as Gail Platt in Coronation Street.
