Stocksfield
Stocksfield is a small village located close to the River Tyne, about 14 miles (23 km) west of Newcastle upon Tyne, in the parliamentary constituency of Hexham. Notable residents have included comedian and actor Rowan Atkinson, former Dire Straits Keyboard Player Alan Clark, former athletics star Brendan Foster, and shipbuilder Ernest John Hunter.
